Recently, Elijah has started taking naps on his own. There have been several occasions when he tells us he's "ti-uhd," and then proceeds to his bed (he still uses his crib), climb over the rails, and go to sleep. Unfortunately these occasions are usually at odd hours of the day.
Last Sunday when Stephanie wasn't feeling good, she went into our bedroom to take a nap. As not to be disturbed, she closed and locked the door. Elijah was not happy about this and after pitching a small tantrum, went into his own room, closed the door, climbed into bed, and took over an hour nap... at 10 am. If only it were this easy all the time.
