Greed

Well... Our promise of the world for using the potty has backfired. On day four he not only made us proud by pooping in the potty by himself AND going all day without a single accident, he also caught on to the game and filled up his Potty chart with stickers.

After Stephanie took Elijah to the store to pick out more future rewards for his consistent elimination strategy, Elijah put his bladder in overdrive and racked up twelve more successful potty trips! Twelve! He not only earned his lego set this morning, but one of his new toys that Stephanie bought him this afternoon. Squeeze struck gold and was determined to squeeze as much reward as possible from this new venture. He peed twice in the first ten minutes after I got home this evening, and of course expected a sticker, jellybean, television, toy routine. I feel like someone is taking advantage of me. Apparently Mama and Daddy will have to change their strategy starting tomorrow. Otherwise, it's looking cheaper to go back to diapers.
