Halloween 2011

Tis the season for kids to dress up and get candy, and for us to humiliate our dogs by dressing them up and then taking pictures. Can't you tell how much they love their costumes, petrified to move as they try and not make eye contact? Hey, it gives us some laughs.

So Halloween was fantastic as we drove to spend Sunday with Grandadio (Steve), where Holiday gifts were acquired. Aubrey got a Sing-a-ma-jig, which has granted many smiles and giggles (well, more like coughing laughs).

Then we headed to my brothers house on Monday to go trick-or-treating with his family and friends. Elijah was Buzz lightyear and got several compliments on the authenticity of his costume. "Harry" and "Ron" (AKA Grayson and Jacob) also had a blast, even finding themselves in a dual with "Drayco." Elijah had a good time, but he did get tired of walking on a few occasions. Strangely enough, the boy who runs everywhere was constantly having to be coaxed to catch up with the other kids. I guess he was taking such an interest in the candy he was acquiring, and also observing all the other kids in their costumes.

Aubrey also dressed up, although she did not go with us in our door-to-door candy hunt. She was "Boo" from Monsters, Inc. They look just alike, don't they? (Wished we had gotten a better shot of her in her pigtails.)
