Little Liar

She may be the cutest thing in the world, but she's also a liar and a thief. And she can do it all with a smile.

Yesterday, Aubrey ran off with one of Elijah's new stuffed animals, and when asked by her brother where she put it, she answered, "I don know."

I told Elijah to go check upstairs and then I grilled my daughter. "Where is Nuppy?"

Hanging onto her crib and dangling in front of her bedside table drawers, she smiled and said, "it uptay-uhs," (It's upstairs). Then she added while holding her little hand over her top drawer, "It not in ere."

And guess where we found Nuppy? Here's a hint: he wasn't upstairs. Although it makes for a funny story to tell, we're going to have to nip this problem in the bud.
