Foreign Language

As our little toddler develops his vocabulary, I am sometimes confused to who is learning how to communicate. Words tend to morph to become part of his own dialect. The Bible is often referred to as "Apple"; A Cow is called "Boo" (not Moo); The Steam Cleaner is "Coom"; Yogurt is called "Baby" (due to the small tot on the Yogurt container); Bennett is referred to as "Beans"; and Peño is called "Po-Po" (although "Poo-Poo" would be more appropriate). The funny thing is, I tend to start using the same language.

Billy: "Has he eaten any Baby today?"

Stephanie: "Just a half-one."

Billy: "Then he can have the rest. He doesn't need to eat more than one baby a day."
