First Words

Several Weeks ago while staying with my parents, Aubrey said her first word... sort of. Well, she said "Baby" but it sound more like "Ba-Ba." Well, as we are progressing through speech therapy with her, Aubrey is definitely catching onto the signs, and Stephanie has her doing a lot more. And for the audible words, if we can get her thumb out of her mouth, she's beginning to say a few syllables. She now says a second word, "Boo-boo" and she says that one spot on ;-) You can tell she makes the connections, because she understands a surprising amount. And perhaps we could even argue she's already said, "Mama," but I'm not ready to count that one yet.
