Today was Talk Like a Pirate Day, one of my favorite holidays. And this year Krispie Kreme gave us a great opportunity to celebrate and was giving away a free donut if you ordered like a pirate, and a whole dozen if you dressed up like one. I got Aubrey dressed up, and did a little myself (mainly the hat), and so while we were out running errands, we stopped by and went in for a free box. To my surprise, they gave us a dozen for EACH pirate in attire. So we walked out with two free dozen donuts (and a few flavored ones we paid for), so we distributed a few half dozen to some neighbors. Arghh…. Happy Talk Like A Pirate Day!

Pirate Grub
