So tonight was movie night, and only the way my wife can do it. We ate upstairs, a sea worthy meal of fish, hush puppies, sweet potatoes, and steamed vegetables. We put on "The Pirates - Band of Misfits," and of course, the Captain and his first mate had to wear our pirate gear. ARG!!!
Not sure how great eating while we watch t.v. works for our family,. Aubrey didn't eat much (as usual), and she went to bed near the beginning of the movie. Elijah was so zoned, it took him practically the whole movie to finish his meal. I kept having to remind him to eat as he just sat staring at the television. What a great family night.
